A heat exchanger, wherein heat transfer between winding sections can be minimized using a structure which can be easily assembled and is low cost. A hot-water supply device using the heat exchanger is also provided. Heat insulating plates (59) are each mounted between winding sections (A1, A2), fastening members (59a) are wound around outer tubes (53, 54) of the winding sections (A1, A2) to fasten the outer tubes (53, 54) together, together with the heat insulating plates (59). Thus, the winding sections (A1, A2) can be affixed in position without requiring complex affixing work such as brazing, and assembling work can be extremely easily performed. Also, because flat plate-like heat insulating plates having a simple shape can be used as the heat insulating plates (59), heat transfer between the winding sections (A1, A2) can be minimized using the low-cost structure. |
