The piece (10) has rows of precious stones (13) arranged side by side on a face of a support (11). The precious stones of one of rows are shifted from semi-stones (14) with respect to the precious stones of adjacent row such that the piece presents rows (12a) including a stone smaller than that of adjacent rows (12b). The semi-stones are placed at ends of the rows containing the small stones, where each semi-stone represent half of the precious stones. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a jewelling or pave type bijouterie piece.
