PURPOSE: An impact-proof tire when colliding with a curb, and a method of manufacturing the same are provided so that the cutting possibility of a carcass cord decreases because an impact-proof protrusion is formed. CONSTITUTION: An impact-proof tire when colliding with a curb comprises a tread(1), sidewalls and bead portions. The sidewalls are installed at both sides of the tread. The bead portions are installed at the ends of the sidewalls. An impact-proof protrusion(4) is formed at each inner part of the shoulder and the rim flange of each sidewall. For the impact-proof protrusion, long continuous projecting parts are formed with a constant distance between them.
