摘要 <p>The present invention relates to novel synthesis of an organic insulator that is a key component of an organic thin film transistor (OTFT) applicable as a drive switching element for a next generation flexible display, and the fabrication of an organic thin film transistor (OTFT) using the same. More specifically, the invention relates to a photocurable soluble polyimide-based polymer with a new structure, a preparation method thereof, and the fabrication of an organic thin film transistor using the same, wherein the photocurable soluble polyimide-based polymer is prepared by introducing a photocurable functional group to a polyimide polymer that is soluble in an organic solvent through a chemical reaction. Since the polyimide-based polymer according to the invention is soluble in an organic solvent, the polymer enables the formation of an organic insulating film through a solution process and can minimize leakage current of an insulator through photocuring. Therefore, the insulation of the organic insulating film can be improved and processing temperature can be lowered in the manufacture of a thin film.</p>
