<p>Provided is an organic light-emitting device having an optical output with high luminance and high color purity with extremely high efficiency. The organic light-emitting device includes an organic layer between the anode and the cathode, in which one of the anode and the cathode is a transparent electrode or a semi-transparent electrode and at least one layer of the organic layer contains at least one kind of indenopyrene compound having a specific structure.</p>
