PURPOSE: A biaxial centering unit is provided to be globally utilized for a robot or an automatization line and to accurately place a target at a center by simultaneously operating in X-axis and Y-axis directions with one driving unit. CONSTITUTION: A biaxial centering unit comprises a frame(100), a pinion gear, a guide rail(300), a moving plate(400), a first rack gear(500) and a second rack gear(600). The frame is connected to a upper plate(110) and a lower plate(120). The pinion gear is installed at the space between the upper plate and the lower plate to make a rotation. The guide rail is installed along the X-axis and Y-axis at the lower part of the upper plate. The moving plate is connected to a guide block(310) movable along the guide rail. The first rack gear is arranged so that its one end is connected to the moving plate and the other end engages with the pinion gear. The second rack gear is arranged at a certain height different from the first rack gear.
