The present invention relates to a personal receiving set, and more particularly, to a personal receiving set in which the exposure of the cord of the personal receiving set is minimized to prevent the face and both hands of a user from being caught in the cord and thus improve the convenience of use and user activity, and in which a speaker for delivering acoustic signals is spaced apart from the auditory organ of the user and supported such that the position of the speaker is variable to enable the user to listen to sound with his/her auditory organ opened. The personal receiving set of the present invention comprises a first unit located at the head of a user; and a second unit supported by the first unit to enable a speaker to be spaced apart from the auditory organ of the user. The thus-configured personal receiving set of the present invention is advantageous in that the cord of the personal receiving set may not catch the face or either hand of the user, thus enabling the user to move freely and ensuring increased and safer user activity. Whereby, the present invention improves the convenience of use and safety, and ensures an increase in user activity when users use the receiving set of the present invention during hobby activities or outdoor activities. |
