<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geography-model order reception system, in which a client can optionally specify an area as a geography model production object, and the three-dimensional geography model by NC-machining can be made at low cost while reducing time and labor. <P>SOLUTION: The order reception system includes: a provider server connected to the client terminal via internet; and an NC-machining device for NC-machining the geography model. The provider server includes: a map image display means for displaying a map image in the client terminal, using a map image database; a latitude/longitude information acquisition means for acquiring the latitude/longitude information about the specified area based on the input from the client terminal; a scale/model dimension acquisition means for acquiring the scale/model dimension information about the geography model; and a three-dimensional coordinate calculating means for calculating three-dimensional coordinate data where altitude values are applied to the latitude/longitude points of the specified area based on the numerical map database and the latitude/longitude information. The NC-machining device performs NC-machining of the three-dimensional geography model based on the three-dimensional coordinate data and the scale/model dimension information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
