<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the feeding apparatus which ensures smooth slide of an output section over a long term. <P>SOLUTION: The feeding apparatus 41 is provided with: an output section 45 having an ultrasonic oscillator 51; a guide mechanism 49 which supports the output section slidably to abut on a driven section and to separate therefrom; and a preload imparting mechanism 47 which imparts a preload to the output section toward the driven section 42. The guide mechanism has a moving body 61, and an anchor block 62. A pair of right and left mutual abutting/sliding sections 65 is provided between the moving body 61 and anchor block. Each mutual abutting/sliding section includes a concave surface, and a convex surface which is incorporated therein and abutting thereon.
