PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise, while suppressing deterioration of performance and an increase in the physical size of an air blower. SOLUTION: A centrifugal multiblade fan stored in a casing 3 of the air blower, sucking air from one end side in the axial direction and blowing off the air to the outside in the radial direction includes a side plate 22 connecting blades 21 arranged in large numbers around a rotary shaft 11 and end parts 211 in one end side in the axial direction of the blades 21, and a main plate 23 connected to the rotary shaft 11 and connecting the end parts 211 in the other end side in the axial direction of the blades 21. In the centrifugal multiblade fan, an outer periphery 213 of the blades 21 expands radially outward, extending from the one end side in the axial direction to the other end side in the axial direction so that an outside diameter of the fan is expanded from the one end side in the axial direction to the other end side in the axial direction.
