<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the falling of a nut by reliably holding it during a manual fastening work using a bolt and a nut or during the work for loosening and removing the nut fastened to the bolt. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This falling preventing tool is provided for preventing the falling of the nut during the work for mounting/demounting the nut 25 on/from the male screw 21 of the bolt 20 whose female screw is protruded at its front end from a fastened hole 31. The falling preventing tool includes a front end member 2 to be fitted into the hole of the nut, and an extending part 10 extending backward from the front end member.
