PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor with a built-in oil separator, securing a necessary strength regardless of its small-sized and light-weight, and excellent in oil separative force. SOLUTION: The scroll compressor with a built-in oil separator includes: a separation chamber which is disposed adjacent to a discharge chamber, separates the oil-containing gas led therein through centrigugation into gas and oil, drops the separated oil down and vents the separated gas upward; and a communication hole between a discharge chamber and the separation chamber, leading the oil-containing gas from the discharge chamber to the separation chamber. In the scroll compressor with a built-in oil separator, the oil separator is formed of joint structure of a fixed scroll component and a casing of a compressor, and the bottom plate of the fixed scroll component is formed to be smaller in thickness in a discharge chamber formation part than a separation chamber formation part.
