摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion control method and a control device of an engine specifying a solenoid valve having abnormality out of at least either a gas quantity regulating valve disposed at each cylinder and comprising a solenoid valve or a control solenoid valve of an ignition device, and specifying breaking of signal wire, failure of a solenoid valve body, poor contact and grounding fault causing the abnormality in a gas engine. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A circuit is constructed individually for each cylinder by connecting a solenoid valve, a power source, and a switch for turning on and off. A solenoid valve operation monitor device 2 monitoring operation of the solenoid valve is provided in the circuit construction. The solenoid valve operation monitor device 2 measures current value of a plurality solenoid valves corresponding to an ignition order in a cycle of an engine, specifies the solenoid valve of an abnormal cylinder by comparing existence of the current value and magnitude of current waveform corresponding to each cylinder, and specifies cause of abnormality of breaking of the signal line, failure of the solenoid valve body, and poor connection.
