<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stickable and peelable collar dirt-preventing tool for preventing dirt of a collar of a jacket, in view of the fact that in order to prevent dirt of a jacket, conventionally, a rather large handkerchief or a scarf is wound around the neck or a tape-like cloth is applied to a collar followed by stitching with threads, and to provide a method for preventing dirt of a collar. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This collar dirt-preventing tool includes a cloth-like water absorbing member layer whose both the ends have roundness and which is made of a material with a water-absorbing property, a sticking agent layer which is set on the rear of the water absorbing member layer for sticking the water absorbing member layer to a collar of a garment in a peelable manner, and a release paper for covering the sticking agent layer in a peelable manner.
