<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further effectively obtain a cleaning effect by the mechanical cleaning of a screen member. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The screen member 13 is curved to become convex toward an upstream side in a position in which fluid firstly abuts on the screen member 13. A cleaning brush roller 14 is arranged in a position in which chains 9 and 10 are engaged with drive sprockets 3 and 4 for the screen member 13 to change a direction of rotation. A tip of a brush of the cleaning brush roller 14 abuts on the curved convex surface 13b<SB>2</SB>of the rotating screen member 13. Consequently, the sliding friction force of the cleaning brush roller 14 against the convex surface 13b<SB>2</SB>of the screen member 13 can be increased, and the cleaning effect can be more effectively obtained.
