<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat the other audio data with the same operation as the operation for one audio data even for a group of data which is a mixture of uncompressed audio data and compressed audio data. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A reproducing apparatus 10 for reproducing the group of data which is the mixture of the compressed audio data and uncompressed audio data includes: a directory analyzing section 7B (a first directory configuration-analyzing section and second directory configuration-analyzing section) for specifying the directory configuration of the uncompressed audio data and directory configuration of the compressed audio data; and a folder reconfiguring section 7C for configuring a virtually common directory for the compressed audio data and uncompressed audio data based on the result of the directory analyzing section 7B.
