<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which facilitates a game player to view the image that the game player wants to check as first preference when two or more symbols are variably displayed on the game machine. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The game machine includes: a display area where images are displayed; a first image which is variably displayed in the display area; at least one recognition symbol variably displayed in such a display mode that the recognition symbol is located on the game player side rather than the first image side, wherein the display result of the variable display as a predetermined stop mode allows the game player to recognize that advantageous privilege is given to the game player; a display control means which performs display control of the display area; and a second image which is displayed in such a display mode that the second image is located on the game player side rather than the first image side. The display control means performs the display control that the second image is fixedly displayed at a predetermined display position of the display area and the recognition symbols are variably displayed near the second image which is fixedly displayed.
