<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuse gas plug which can prevent gas from leaking through a very narrow gap between a valve element and a valve seat by emitting an alarm when a state is detected that the valve element is caused to closely contact the valve seat by receiving gas pressure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The fuse gas plug is configured to shut off gas by making a ball 15 loosely inserted inside a gas passage 10b tightly contact a valve seat surface 16b by being lifted from a state that the ball is on the ball stopper 14 with the gas in over-flow rate. In this fuse gas plug, an optical fiber sensor 2 capable of detecting the movement of the ball 15 is provided to the body 10 of the gas plug.
