PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile electronic apparatus which prevents an advance of cracks etc. even when cracks etc. occur in a hinge etc., and as a result, which can improve the strength of the casing of the mobile electronic apparatus as a whole. SOLUTION: The mobile electronic apparatus is a folding type PHS terminal, wherein a display side body 2 and an operation-side body are rotatably connected by the hinge. The front case 5a of the PHS terminal is obtained, by integrally molding an inserted sheet metal 11 and a resin plate 21. The inserted sheet metal 11 is provided with a rectangular plate-shaped flange 14, extended at one end of a connection rib 13a, on the hinge side, as well as, extended into the inside of the cylindrical part 23a of a turning part 23.
