PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding type air filter cleaning mechanism which removes dust of a filter efficiently while making an effective use of the area of the filter, and which has less dust exhaust frequency. SOLUTION: The winding type air filter cleaning mechanism includes: a delivery reel 15; a take-up reel 16; a ventilation passage portion 14; a filter body 17; a middle reel 19 which is provided at least in the vicinity of the take-up reel 16 in the filter body 17 from the delivery reel 15 to the take-up reel 16 so that it touches the downstream face of the filter body 17; and a cleaning body 25 which comprises a dust removal brush and so on which contacts the upstream face of the filter body 17 and removes dust. The cleaning body 25 can always keep even contact pressure against the filter body 17 to carry out cleaning, so the filter body 17 can be cleaned stably without the unevenness in cleaning.
