PURPOSE: A universal multi distributing and sharing device is provided to smoothly distribute and share multimedia contents through a communication network by converting the multimedia contents of various types to be reproduced through the portable device of different kinds. CONSTITUTION: A UMSD(Universal Media Service Discovery) server(100) offers the multimedia contents. An administration unit(220) manages the permission, the certification and charging of multimedia contents. An IP network interface assembly receives the multimedia contents from the UMSD server via internet. A storage(230) stores the received multimedia contents. A universal media codec part(240) transforms the received multimedia contents to be reproduced through various kinds of portable terminal, and creates the universal media. A universal media distributor module(270) transmits the universal media to the personal terminal. |
