OPTICAL FILM FOR PROTECTING POLARIZER, POLARIZING PLATE AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film for protecting a polarizer, which is very suitable for mass production and can be provided with characteristics respectively required for each desired application thereof, while maintaining optical characteristics and moisture-proof properties of a polypropylene which is polymerized using a metallocene catalyst, and to provide a highly functional polarizing plate using the optical film and an image display device.

SOLUTION: The optical film for protecting a polarizer comprises a mixed resin of a polypropylene which is polymerized using a metallocene catalyst and a graft modified polypropylene.
