<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display element which heightens light transmissivity for each pixel to improve an aperture ratio. <P>SOLUTION: Data lines 5, 5; first electrodes 7 which are formed between data lines 5, 5 on the same plane as the data lines 5, 5; and second electrodes 9 which are formed on the data lines 5, 5 and the first electrodes via a first insulating film; are formed via a second insulating film on the same substrate. A plurality of first slits 17 each have bent parts 17a adjacent to one data line 5, and one end parts and the other end parts 17d, 17e which are all away from the one data line 5 compared with the bent parts 17a; are alternately provided in parallel in the second electrodes 9. A pair of second slits 18 each are separately formed between the first slit 17 nearest the one data line 5 and the one data line 5, the second slits each having shapes including parts which contain no bent parts 17a in the first slits 17 and correspond either to the one end parts 17d or to the other end parts 17e. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
