<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reset signal generation circuit capable of restraining an occupied area by a simple circuit configuration having no hysteresis characteristic, resisting noises and certainly generating a power-on reset signal, and to provide a semiconductor device including the reset-signal generation circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The reset signal generation circuit includes a first buffer circuit, a low-pass filter, a resistance element, and a second buffer circuit. The output terminal of the first buffer circuit is connected electrically to the input terminal of the low-pass filter, and the output terminal of the low-pass filter is connected electrically to one terminal of the resistance element and the input terminal of the second buffer circuit.
