<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna apparatus easily adjusting a frequency without moving a mounted antenna peripheral component, and also to provide a radio communication apparatus having the antenna apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the antenna apparatus including an antenna element, an end of the antenna element is branched into two elements and a frequency is adjusted by the length of the other branched element.
