<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter substrate which is used for a liquid crystal display or the like and is protected from flaws and damage and is therefore advantageous to storage and transport. <P>SOLUTION: A protective layer having a Vickers hardness of 9.6 or more, which is made of resin or the like and can be removed is disposed on the side of a colored layer of the color filter substrate prepared by forming an elementary composition of a black matrix, the colored layer, a transparent electrode, a spacer, etc. on the surface of a glass substrate. A laminate convenient for transport is prepared by laminating a plurality of sheets of color filter substrates each provided with the protective layer, wherein the lamination is performed such that the protective layer of the side of a colored layer of the color filter substrate is allowed to contact with the back surface of the color filter substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
