<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injector system including a reservoir of a contrast medium, accepted to a medical specialist and special occupation at need, safe and effective to use, further superior in cost-benefit performance, especially allowing more than one patient to be injected using the same reservoir supply. <P>SOLUTION: This subassembly includes a single use portion 46 and a multiple use portion 44. The components including the single use portion 46 and multiple use portion 44 are supplied to the user in individual kit configurations that are safe, effective, sterile and easy to use. An individual kit including the single use components 46 may be used for cardiology, radiology, ultrasound, magnetic imaging, computer tomography or similar procedures.
