<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of preventing a tine plate from colliding with a contact, even if the connector with a tine plate is made low in height. <P>SOLUTION: In the connector which includes a lowermost contact 40S of which the distance in vertical direction from a tine plate 60 to a contact portion is shortest, a tine plate regulating body 38 which inhibits upward movement of the tine plate 60 is formed integrally with a housing.
