<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station apparatus, wherein a communication state with a wireless terminal communicating by a frequency hopping system and frequency utilization efficiency are made more efficient than before. <P>SOLUTION: The base station apparatus 10 using the frequency hopping system includes a carrier selection part 15 for alternatively selecting a carrier from respective carriers based on frequencies, a wireless communication part 11 for communicating with the wireless terminal 20 through the carrier selected by the carrier selection part 15, and a control part 12 for making the carrier selection part 15 select a carrier in a fixed cycle.
