<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect gas leakage and to alarm the gas leakage when gas leaks in a part where the odor of the gas is not easily noticed such as the inside of a gas ignition plug control box with a built-in gas cylinder. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The dental gas burner includes the gas ignition plug control box 3 with the built-in gas cylinder 11, and a flame cylinder 6 which is disposed at the upper part of the gas ignition plug control box and where the gas from the gas cylinder 11 is supplied and burned, and a member to be used in dental treatment is thermally treated by flame generated from the flame cylinder 6. The gas ignition plug control box 3 is provided with a gas sensor 20 on the lower part inside the control box, detects the gas leakage inside the control box, reports the gas leakage by an alarm device outside the control box, and closes a gas plug 14 further.
