PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a cross flow apparatus (100) concerning a fuel nozzle for a gas turbine engine. SOLUTION: The cross flow apparatus (100) includes a surface (130) and one or more outlets (140) provided in the surface (130). The cross flow apparatus (100) further includes one or more guides (180) at the surface (130), configured to direct an intersecting flow (150) flowing across the surface (130) and to increase a velocity of a cross flow (160) discharged from the one or more outlets (140) downstream from the one or more outlets (140).
