PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a member for a push-button switch of which a manufacturing process is simple and of low-cost, and which is superior in durability, miniaturization, and thinning, and provide the member for the push-button switch. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the member for the push-button switch 1 is equipped with a base sheet 3 made of a rubber-like elastomer and a plurality of resin-made key tops 2 arranged on the upper surface of the base sheet 3. This method includes a step of molding a member for the base sheet, and simultaneously when the member for the resin-made key tops and the member for the base sheet are molded into an integrally molded product by using a molding die, and a step of forming a plurality of respectively independent resin-made key tops 2 by cutting the member for the resin-made key tops of the integrally molded product into the pressing direction.
