<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a vibration control device by distributing a bearing force acting on the vibration control device having a ball screw part and by reducing the outside diameter of a screw shaft. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The damper 1 includes: a movable base 22, into which vibration is inputted; a reaction force generation part 23, which generates a reaction force according to the vibration; and a fixed base 24, which supports the reaction force generation part 23. This reaction force generation part 23, which has the ball screw part 20 comprising two nuts 5 and a flywheel 6 provided between the two nuts, converts the vibration inputted from the movable base 22 to the two nuts 5 into rotational motion and rotates the flywheel 6 through the rotational motion.
