<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably secure the prevention of coming-off by an easy means without requiring a turning process and a dedicated facility and to reduce cost of a product. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a constant velocity universal joint which is provided with a cup shaped outer ring 10 including an opening at one end and a tripod member 20 transmitting torque while allowing angular displacement via a roller 30 between the outer ring 10 and the tripod member and which accommodates the roller 30 and the tripod member 20 axially slidably in the outer ring 10, it is formed with a hole 13 at the end 11 of the opening of the outer ring 10 and with a bulge part 15 on the inner circumferential surface of the opening of the outer ring 10 by embedding a pin 70 into the hole 13 through press fitting.
