PURPOSE: A transmission system for offering the information of a proxy server corresponding broadcasting contents using the proxy server and mobile radio communications network and a method thereof are provided to transmit specific information to the mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A set-top box(200) receives selection signal and a wireless terminal identification number about one specific object from IPTV among a plurality of specific objects. The set-top box extracts the address information of the selected specific object corresponding to the selection signal. The set-top box transmits the address information and wireless terminal identification number to the proxy server(600).
