<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a metal oxide and a method for coating the metal oxide. <P>SOLUTION: This metal oxide is produced by hydrolyzing a compound of formula I [wherein, M is Al, Ti, V, Zn, In, Sn or the like; X is O<SB>1/2</SB>or OR (wherein, R is alkyl); and R<SP>1</SP>to R<SP>7</SP>are each independently H, alkoxy, 1-10C alkyl or the like]. The article containing ≥1 kinds of the metal oxide is produced by coating a substrate material with ≥1 kind of the compound of the formula I and hydrolyzing the above compound and/or heating the compound at approximately 50°C to approximately 450°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
