<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating apparatus wherein harmonics in input current is suppressed and a high frequency current is supplied to an induction heating load for stable operation with a simple circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The induction heating apparatus includes a commercial power supply 1, a rectification means 2, a reactor 3, a first switching element 6, a first switch arm comprising a snubber inductor 10, a second switching element 7, a smoothing capacitor 4 connected to the other end of the first switch arm and the other end of the second switching element 7, an induction heating load 12 and resonance capacitor 11 connected parallel to the second switching element 7, an active auxiliary resonance circuit 9, and a control means 8 for controlling on/off of the first switching element 6, the second switching element 7, and a third switching element. The control means 8 controls an inverter 5 which contains the first switching element 6 in which a harmonics suppressing means of input current and a high frequency current supplying means to the induction heating load 12 are shared. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
