<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device, which defines in advance, when starting a process to be cooperatively executed by a plurality of devices, information for executing the process without checking processing capability of each device, and to provide a control method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing device defines a process to be cooperatively executed by a plurality of external devices connected through a network. Concretely, the information processing device generates a process definition ticket defining a process of a target external device, determines whether the process defined by the process definition ticket can be processed by the target external device, and edits the process ticket.
