<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of a controller of a motor for a seat belt retractor. <P>SOLUTION: The controller of a motor for a seat belt retractor includes: a drive circuit, which drives the motor for the seat belt retractor; a control circuit, which generates a control signal for controlling the drive circuit; and a power supply circuit, which outputs operation electric power for operating the control circuit.
