<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water seal valve suitable as a valve for changing over the gas flow channels of a biological deodorization apparatus, a biologically deodorizing method using the same and a biological deodorization apparatus for executing the biologically deodorizing method. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of carrier filled regions 20a, 20b, 20c and 20d are washed in a predetermined order while performing deodorizing operation by supplying a gas to be treated to the respective carrier filled regions by a predetermined supply route and the supply of the gas to be treated to the predetermined carrier filled region is stopped to supply washing water to the predetermined carrier filled region during washing-regeneration operation of the predetermined carrier filled region. After the carrier is immersed in the washing water for a predetermined time, the washing water is drawn out and an aqueous nutritive salt solution is further supplied to the predetermined carrier filled region not only to immerse the carrier in the aqueous nutritive salt solution to perform the washing-regeneration operation of the predetermined carrier filled region but also to supply the gas to be treated to the other carrier filled regions not being the washing target ones to perform deodorizing operation.
