PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a printing intaglio plate, with which a printing intaglio plate having the aspect ratio of a recessed part higher than a conventional one can be manufactured easily and inexpensively. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the method for manufacturing the printing intaglio plate 4. A resist layer 2 with a predetermined pattern form is formed on the surface of a conductive base material 1. Next, plating is performed at spots, in which no resist layer 2 is formed.
