<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use effects of a smell removing means at a maximum by selecting whether air is made to pass through the smell removing means when the air within a heating chamber is discharged in accordance with use conditions such as a cooking type and use temperature. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This heating cooker includes an air exhaust means for discharging air within the heating chamber to outside. A discharge route through which air discharged from the heating chamber is made to pass is branched into two, and the smell removing means for removing smell components included in the air is arranged in one of the two branched routes. A shutter mechanism is provided at an inlet of the discharge route. Thus, since whether air is made to pass through the smell removing means when the air within the heating chamber is discharged can be selected in accordance with the use condition such as the cooking type and use temperature, the smell removing means can be effectively used.
