<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which attains high-reliability, high-speed signal transmission between an element substrate and a processing substrate, and which is miniaturized without hindering rocking of the element substrate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes the element substrate 11, provided with an imaging device on which subject light is made incident; a shake detection means 23 for detecting shake of an apparatus body; a blur correcting unit 10 for rocking the element substrate 11, on a plane nearly perpendicular to the optical axis of the subject light on the basis of shake information by the shake detection means 23; the processing substrate 21, arranged separately from the element substrate 11 in a prescribed first direction (X direction); and a wiring member 30, constituted by arranging and arraying a plurality of linear conduction members 31 for electrically connecting the element substrate 11 and the processing substrate 21, in a plane state where the wiring direction of the linear conduction member 31 at one end 32 of the wiring member 30 connected to the element substrate 11 and the wiring direction of the linear conduction member 31 at the other end 33 of the wiring member 30 connected to the processing substrate 21 lie along the first direction, respectively.
