<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel-type game machine which appropriately advances a game by canceling a freeze performance for temporarily halting the progress of the game on the condition of acquisition of a prescribed game result. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Whether a special performance for temporarily halting the progress of the game is generated or not is selected by a lottery after a game result is displayed on the condition of starting a unit game by rotations of respective rotating drums. Under a condition that the generation of the special performance is predetermined (Step S117), the generation of the predetermined special performance is invalidated (Step S118) on the condition that a combination of symbols corresponding to a special combination being a shift triggering combination to a special game state which is more advantageous to a player than a normal game state is displayed on a prescribed effective prize winning line.
