<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ordinary type combined harvester capable of suitably rearing and harvesting rice, wheat or various cereals at low costs. Ž<P>SOLUTION: There is provided the ordinary type combined harvester characterized by making a reaping and pretreating device 6 to comprise a rear unit connected to a feeder 60 and a front unit connected to the rear unit, disposing a conveying auger 65 and a reel type raking device 64 in the rear unit, changeably connecting a unit for rice or wheat or a unit for various cereals as the front unit to the rear unit, disposing a main reaping device 63 in the unit for rice or wheat in a transverse posture in the horizontal direction, and disposing a main reaping device 63 in a transverse posture in the horizontal direction and vertically disposing a sub-reaping device 7 for reaping planted crops in a longitudinal posture at a lateral side end position in the reaping action area of the main reaping device 63, in the unit for various cereals.
