<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay capable of reducing sound and the number of components. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electromagnetic relay includes: a hinged type electromagnet 1 having an iron core 11, a yoke 13 and an armature 12; and a movable spring 40 forming a contact with a fixed contact 21. The movable spring 40 includes a proximal region 42 and a receiving spring 41. A fixed end 42b which is one end of the proximal region 42 is fixed to the yoke 13, and a movable contact 22 which makes contact with and separates from a fixed contact 21 is fixed to the other end of the proximal region 42. The receiving spring 41 has a supporting portion 41a extended from the end at which the movable contact 22 in the proximal region 42 is fixed to the opposite side of the fixed contact 21; and a collision piece 41b along the proximal region 42, and collides against the wall of a base 32 forming a housing 3 on the collision piece 41b.
