<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of repairing and replacing a flexible joint of a closed conduit, and a repair and replacement structure therefor, allowing repair and replacement of the flexible joint in a short time without needing watertight construction around the joint, welding work, or the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A method of replacing the flexible joint after the displacement of the closed conduit is carried out by setting a reference surface 31 to mount a flexible joint 30 newly installed for the closed conduit after displaced after the removal of the existing flexible joint 20; connecting connection bolts 32 to existing mounting bolts 15 of mounting frames 14, 14 according to the reference surface 31, then mounting and fixing raising members 34 corresponding to the reference surface 31 through the connection bolts 32, and assembling the newly installed flexible joint 30 to the raising members 34 to protect with protective members 38, 39. Welding work for the new mounting frame body and replacement of the closed conduit itself after temporary cofferdam in the field can be dispensed with, and repair and replacement of the new flexible joint 30 can be performed in a short time for restoration.
