<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece movement constructed more reasonably. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the timepiece movement, an iron core of a motor is a member formed in a U-shape. A connecting plate made of a soft magnetic material is fixed at the end of the iron core in a stacked manner to allow the magnetic path of a stator to be continued circularly. The connecting plate has an opening for allowing a rotor to pass through. A magnetic pole part is provided on the inner periphery of the opening and is sandwiched between a medium plate and the iron core. The medium plate is provided with a protrusion. The iron core is provided with a first hole for allowing the protrusion to pass through. The connecting plate is provided with a second hole for allowing the protrusion to pass through. The protrusion includes a small-diameter part passing through the first hole, a large-diameter part passing through the second hole, and a stepped part positioned therebetween. The thickness (t1) of the connecting plate is set to be the same as or larger than the height dimension (t2) of the large-diameter part, while a clearance (c2) between the second hole and the large diameter part is set to be smaller than a clearance (c1) between the first hole and the small-diameter part.
