<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display which arranges an identifier representing the product features of an own device and the information explaining the product features represented by the identifier at an appropriate display position according to the input image data. <P>SOLUTION: The digital television 1 displays the images based on the input image signals, together with the logos symbolizing the features of its own functions and the detailed information explaining them. Further, it includes a display position determination section 54 to determine the position on the screen respectively to display the logos and the detailed information depending on the image signals, an EPG/OSD reservation processor 24 to generate the display data either the logos or the detailed information is displayed at the determined display position, a display controller and a liquid crystal display 7 to display the generated data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
