PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hands-free device capable of protecting personal information of telephone directory data when receiving the transferred telephone directory data. SOLUTION: Upon receiving the telephone directory data from an opposite device via a short-distance radio communication, in storing the telephone directory data, the hands-free device stores the telephone directory data in association with identification information for identifying a destination of transfer of the telephone directory data, and in searching the stored telephone directory data, the hands-free device searches the data from the telephone directory data associated with the information for identifying the opposite device currently connected thereto by the short-distance radio communication.
